4 A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach declaringthat the public interest and
5 ! the public convenience require, and that it is the in-
tention of the said Board of Trustees of said city to
6f order certain work done or improvementmade, describing
the work and improvement, the land deemed necessary to
7 be taken therefor, and specifying the exterior boun-
daries of the district of land to be affected or bene-
fited by said work and improvement and to be assessed
fto pay the damages, coal's and expenses thereof.

The Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach do
resolve and declare as follon's:
1- Resolved,that the public interest and the pubic
convenience require, and that it is the intention of the Board of
Trustees of the city of Iiewnort Beach to order certain work to be
done ar improvement made.
2- Resolved, that the work or improvement which it is
the intention of the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach
to order done is -
That allof that certain alley lying immediately north
of, parallel with, along, and adjoining the North line of Lots
1 -2 -3 in Block 119 of the First Addition to Newport Beach, as the
same appears upon a map recorded in Book 3, page 9 of Miscellaneous
Yap:, records of Orange Cc- inty,California, be closed, vacated and
abandoned.
3- Resolved, that the work to be done or improvement rr,
is for the closir; up of a
portion of an allay in the cite of .ewpor
Beach and that no lard is necessary to be taken therefor.
4- Resolved, that no assessment will be necessary to pay
any damages or costs or any exper._:es thereof..
