OF 1911 AND THE AMENDMENTS TO SAID ACT.
The Board of Trustees of the city of idewport Beach do re-
solve as follows:
SFCTInN 1.
That the public irtcrest and convenience require and the
Board of Trustees hereby orders the following work to be done and
improvement to be made in said City, to -grit:
The grading and construction of concrete pavement, concrete
sidewalk, concrete curb, granite concrete ornamental lighting posts,
conduits, wires and appurtenances for the euccesvful operation of an
ornamental lighting system, a surface of clay and gravel, pipes, hy-
drants and other appliances and appurtenances for supplying and dis-
tributing dome6tic rater and for fire protection, and cement pipe
N sanitary eevers, together with manholes, junction chambers, cast iron
frames and covers, lampholeG, flush tanks and other appurtenances and
otherwise improving portions of Central Avcnue, Plaza Pel :%torte, Plaza
rel Sur, Eiramar Prive, Ocean Boulevard, G— Street, I— Street, L— Street,
iS— Street, Channel Road and the alleys in Blocks F, G, H, I, J, 11, L
and n as said streets and alleys are laid out and shown upon a ep of
Tract l'o. 518 as recorded in n;iscellaneous Haps Rook 17, Pages 33, 34,

35 and 36, Records of orange County, California, all as more particular-
ly described in P.esolution of Intention No. 273, as adopted by the Board
of Trustees of said City on the 3rd day of December, 1923, and oh file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City. For further rarticulars
reference is hereby made to said Pesolution of Intention No. 273, and
to the plans, profiles, drarings and cross - sections on file in the
office of the City Fngineer of said City and according to the specifica-
tions on file in the office of the City Clcrk-of said City, and all of
said plans, profiles, dra°•ings, cross- sections and specifications hereto-
fore approved by said Board of Trustees are incorporated herein and
made a part hereof and reference is hereby made thereto for a afore rarti-
cular descrirtion of said work.
SFCTION 2.
The azid Board of Trustees also determined and declared that
serial bonds shall be issued to represent each assessment of Twenty -five
Dollars or more remaining unpaid for 220 days after the dats of warrant.
For a particular description of said bonds reference is hereby made to
said Resolution of Intention.
SFCTION 3.
The said Board of Trustees also determined and declared that
the contemplated work and improvement hereinbefore mentioned was in the
opinion of said Board of Trustees of more than local or ordinary public
benefit and the expense of said work and improvement has been made
chargeable upon a district. For a rarticular description of s &id dis-
trict reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention.

00 That sealed bids for said work shall be received up to 7:30
o'clock P. 1el. of the 21st day of January, 1924, at which time said bids
will be publicly opened, examined, anddeclared by this Board.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice inviting

seaied bids for said work with the specifications therefor, conspicuously
for five days on or near the council chamber door of this Board, and
to publish a like notice referring to the specifications posted, or
on file tw1de in the Newport News, a weekly newspaper published and
circulated in said City, and hereby designated for that purpose,
there being no daily newspaper in said City.
