A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEUPORT BEACH DETERrINING THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED IN A DEED DATED NOVE:iBER 301 1917, RECORDED IN
BOOK 285 AT PAGE 368 OF DEEDS IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY
RECORDER OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS NO
LONGER REQUIRED FOR ANY PUBLIC USE BY THE SAID CITY OF NE77-
PORT BEACH EXCEPTI!TG, HO':TEVER, SUCH PORTIONS THEREOF AS ARE
NOW INCLUDED IN PUBLIC STREETS WHICH HAVE BEEN DEDICATED TO
PUBLIC USE BY THE 07 -MERS OF ADJOINING PROPERTY AS SHOWN ON
VARIOUS SUBDIVISIOi1 MAPS OF RECORDS AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE .iAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE
AND DELIVER TO THE PRESENT LEGAL AND EQUITABLE OWNERS OF
SAID STRIP OF LAND ALL THE RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID
CITY IN AND TO SAID STRIP BY QUITCLAI;.i DEED SUBJECT TO AND
RESERVING EASE_•:ENTS FOR THE PURPOSES OF PUBLIC STREETS OVER
THOSE PORTIONS THEREOF AS ARE N017 INCLUDED IN PUBLIC STREETS
WHICH HAVE BEEN DEDICATED TO PUBLIC USE BY THE O�,.MI RS OF
ADJOINING PROPERTY AS SH0Y7N ON VARIOUS SUBDIVISION KAPS OF
RECORD.
iThereas, by deed dated November 30, 1917 and recorded
in Book 285 at Page 368 of Deeds in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California, C. L.
Lancaster, May Porter Lancaster and J. A. Ricker conveyed to
the City of Newport Beach, a !Ainicipal.Corooration, that cer-
tain strip or parcel of land situate in the City of Ner^port
Beach, County of Orange, State of California and particularly
described as follows, to —wit:
All those portions of Lots 1 to 8 inclusive of Block C; Lot
2 of Block D; Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Block E; and Lots 2, 3,
and 4 of Block F; all as shown on a i:lap of the El Uoro Tract
as recorded in Book 8 at Page 75 of Miscellaneous Hans,
records of said Orange County and all those portions of Lot
3 of Block 14; Lots 3 and 4 of Block 13; Lot 5 of Block 12;
Lots 7, 8 and 9 of Block 11; Lots 8, 9 and 10 of Block 10;
and Lot 9 of Block 9, all as shown on a Hap of the Seashore
Colony Tract as recorded in Book 7 at Page 25 of "iscella.neous
daps, records of said Orange County and also a portion of Lot
1, Section 20, Township 6 South, Range 10 West included within
the following described boundary lines, to —wit: Beginning
at a point in the Section line between Sections 19 and 20,
Township 6 South, Range 10 ;lest; which point is 901.56 feet
North of the co!nrnon corner of Sections 19, 20, 29 and 30 of
the aforesaid Township; thence North 570 571 Test 448.72 feet
to a point; thence South 350 551 ?lest 40.09 feet to a point;
thence South 570 571 East 453.88 feet to a point; thence
South 640 591 East 1083.41 feet to a point; thence South 540

a point, which point is the most Northerly corner of Lot 10
in Block 160 of a Trap of the River Section, as recorded in
Book 4, at Page 25 of iliscellaneous iiaps, records of said

Orange County; thence North 330 271 East 40 feet to the most
•• Westerly corner of Lot 1 in Block 260 of the aforesaid Nap
of the River Section; thence North 560 331 hest 990.36 feet
to a point; thence North 540 51 West 647.88 feet to a point;
thence North 640 591 West 1087.31 feet to the point of
beginning,
And Whereas said strip of land was acquired by the
said City of Newport Beach for use as a public street which
street was sybsequently vacated and abandoned'by Ordinance
No. 244 of said City, adopted Hay 7, 1925, a certified copy
of which is to be filed in the office of the County Recorder
of said County of Orange concurrently with the deed herein-
after referred to and
Whereas, said strip is not required for any public
use by said City excepting, however, such portions thereof as
are now included in public streets which have beer, dedicated
to public use by the owners of adjoining property as shown
on various subdivision neaps of records, and
Whereas, said C. L. Lancaster, fay Porter Lancaster
and J. A. Ricker, the Grantors in said deed to the City of
Newport Beach hereinabove mentioned, have heretofore granted
to convey all their interest in.the land adjoining the strip
of land hereinabove described together with all their right,
title and interest in and to said strip of land,
Now, Therefore, it is resolved by the City Council
of the said City of Newport Beach that said strip of land
hereinabove described is not required for any public use by
the City of Newport Beach excepting,however, such portions
thereof as are now included in public streets which have been
dedicated to public use by the owners of adjoining property
as shown on various subdivision maps of records and the
:iayor and City Clerk of said City of Newport Beach are hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the present
legal and equitable owners of said strip of land as suc-
cessors in interest to the said. C. L. Lancaster, Hay Porter
Lancaster and J. A. Richer, the Grantors in said deed to the

to and reserving, however, easements for the purposes of pub-
lic streets over those portions thereof as are now included
in public streets which have been dedicated to public use by
the owners of adjoining property as shown on various sub-
division maps of record.

Beach do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution being
Resolution No.'%3— pl , was regularly introduced and duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Olerk all at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the /3 day of
April, 1928 and that the same was passed by the following vote;
