WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney of

4 the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in which the
5 City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain excess water of said
6 city to the VIKING YACHT CLUB, a corporation, upon the conditions,
7 covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth; and
8 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by said
9 City attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10 for its acceptance and approval.
11 NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain con-
12 I tract made and entered into the 2y— day. of larch, 1930, by an
13
between the City of Newport
Beach as the party of the
first part;
14
and the VIKING YACHT CLUB of
1401 Avon Park Terrace,
Los Argeles;
15
California, as party of the
second part, and wherein
and whereby
16 the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain of its excess
17 water upon certain conditions, restrictions and limitations to
18 said party of the second part, be and the same is hereby approves
19 as written.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
21 of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign
22 said contract on behalf of said City of Newport Beach.
23 I hereby certify that the foregoing resolutionva.s duly
24 and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
25 Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the tL/7-4— day of
26 March 1930 by the following vote, to -wit:
