3 I WHEREAS,, pursuant to instruot ions , the City
4 Attorney of the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract
5 in which the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell oextain excess
6 water of said City of Newport Beach to the Santa Ana Joint
7 1 Outfall Sewer, upon the conditions, covenants and restrictions
8 in said contract set forth; and
9 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by
10 said City Attorney to the City Council of the city of Newport
11 Beach for its acceptance and approval.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
13 contract made and entered into the 24th day of March, 1931, by
14 and between the City of Newport Beach as the party of the first
15 part, and the SANTA ANA JOINT OUTFALL SEWER, as the party of the
16 seoond part, and wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach
17 agrees to sell certain of its exoess water upon certain condi-
18 tions, restrictions and limitations to said pasty of the seoond
19 past , be and the same is hereby approved as written.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
21 Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to
22 sign said contract on behalf of said City of Newport Beach.
23 1 hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
24 duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of
25 Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of
26 April, 19312 by the following vote, to —wit:
