A RESOLUTI"N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF ITETTPORT BEACH ADOPTING PLANS AND
SPECIFICA ^1 IONS FOR STONE REVETMENT ALONG
THE EAST JETTY AT THE ENTRANCE CHANNEL
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach
do resolve as follows:
SECTION I.
That the plans, profiles and cross - sections sub-
mitted by the City Engineer for Stone Revetment along the East
Jetty at the Entrance Channel to Newport Bay, being Plan
ido. 397 consisting of one sheet and the specifications for
stone revetment along the East Jetty at the Entrance Channel
at Newport Bay, be and the same are hereby adopted as the Plans
and Specifications for doing all of said work herein described
and as more particularly shown and described in said plans and
specifications.
SECTION II.
That the City Clerk of said City be and is hereby
directed to publish a notice inviting proposals for the aforesaid
work three (3) times in the Newport News, a weekly newspaper
printed, published and circulated within said City and is hereby
designated for that purpose. The notice shall state all proposals
or bids must accompanied by a check payable to the City of
Newport Beach, certified by a responsible bank or a surety bond
for an amount which shall not be less than ten (10) percent of
the aggregate of the bid or proposal. The notice shall also
• contain the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by
this City Council. The proposals or bids will be received up to
the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. on the /34day of vr, , 1932.

That the City Council determines and declares

the cost of
said
improvements and work shall be paid
out
of the 1929
Harbor
Bond fund.
