RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, purawnt to instructions, the City Attorney of
the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in which the
City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certain excess water of said
city to J. A. BEES and L. W. BRIGGS, upon the conditions,
covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth; and
WHEREAS, said contract has been duly
by the City. Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach for its acceptance and approval.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
contract made and entered into the 216t day of March, 1933, by
and between the City of Newport Beach as the party of the first
part, and J. A. Beek and L.W.Briggs as the parties of the second
part, and wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach agrees to
sell certain of its excess water upon certain conditions,
restrictions and limitations to said party of the second part,
be and the same is hereby approved as written.
BE IT FURTHER RESOWED: 'That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign
said contract on behalf of said City of Newport Beach.
I hereby aertify.that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regubrly passed by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regu]a r meeting thereof held on the 3rd day
of April, 1933, by the following Tote, to-wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No, 781 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 3rd day of April 19 33 by the following
vote, to wit:
