RESOLUTION NO. b1 I
WHEREAS, the Cit7 Engineer of the City of Newport
Beach did, on the 3rd dal of June, 1935, present to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, an itemized statement
of the expenditures for street construction and maintenance
on Ocean Avenue between 12th Street and 20th Street; and
WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Newport
Beach finds that each and all of said expenditures for street
construction and maintenance were actua117 necessary and said
labor and materials as in said statement shown, actually fur-
nished.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:: That said expendi-
tures aforesaid, for street construction and maintenance afore-
said, be, and the same are hereby approved as submitted b7 said
Cit7 Engineer of the City of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said Cit7 Engineer be,
and he is hereby directed and authorized to present to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, a request for funds to cover said expenditures, from
the Gasoline Fund Tax of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor of the City of
Newport Beach be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
approve in writing, said written expenditures, and that an
itemized statement of said expenditures, in the total sum:of
$1057.25, signed b7 said Major and Cit7 Engineer, be submitted
and filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange,
in connection with this Resolution, and that a certified copy
of this Resolution be filed therewith.

Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach, at a regular meet-
ing thereof, held on the 3rd day of June, 1935, by the follow-
ing vote, to -wit:
