RESOLUTION NO.
A Grant Deed from the Associated 011 Company, a
corporation, duly organized and existing under and by virtue of
the laws of the State of California, to the City of Newport Beach,
a municipal corporation of the State of California, granting,
selling and conveying unto the City of Newport Beach, its suooesso
and assigns forever, all that certain lot, piece or parcel of
land situate, lying and being in the County of Orange, State of
California, and particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Commencing at a 4 x 4 post at the Northwest corner
of Section 8, Township 6 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M.,
running thence East 38.80 chains; thence South 70 West 21.48
chains; thence south 70 West 18.76 chains; thence West
33.28 chains to the West section line of said Section 8;
thence North 40 chains to the place of beginning, containing
about one hundred forty -three and ninety -seven hundredths
(143.97) acres. Excepting and reserving therefrom the
following described tract: Commencing at the point where
the South line of the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Town-
ship 6 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M., intersects the
eastern boundary of the Rancho Las Bolsas• running thence
North 70 East along said boundary line 2665 feet- thence
South 880 451 West 859 feet; thence South 310 36, East
463 feet; thence south 20 West 635 feet- thence South
260 West 367.3 feet; thence South 670 36, West 283 feet-
thence South 430 30I West 236 feet; thence South 270 451
West 697 feet; thence South 30 West 361 feet to the South
line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 8; thence
East 1258.5 feet to the place of beginning, containing fifty
and ninety one hundredths (50.91) acres of land.
Reserving from the above described parcel of land for
road, railroads and ditches a strip of land thirty (30) feet
wide,along, adjoining and each side of the township and seo-
tion lines and a strip of land twenty (20) feet wide along,
adjoining and each side of the quarter section lines, also
reserving the use and control of oienegas and natural streams
of water, if any, naturally upon, flowing across, into or by i
described tract, and reserving the right of way for and to
construct irrigation or drainage ditches through said tract
to irrigate or drain the adjacent land; also reserving a
right of way over a strip of land thirty (30) feet wide along
the East line of the Las Bolsas Rancho for the purpose of
constructing and maintaining a drainage ditch by the Talbert
Drainage District.
TOGETHER WITH all and singular the tenements,
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions,
remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof,

was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman r made
a motion, duly seconded by Councilman e�
and carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by said City of
Newport Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same
forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange Oounty, California.
That said motion was carried by the following

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true
