RESOLUTION NO. 1019
WHEREAS, there has this day been Dresented to the
City Council of the City of Newoort Beach a certain Easement
dated the 9th day of November, 1936, by and between the PACIFIC
ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, A California coroora,tion, the party
of the first part, and the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal
corporation of the State of California, the party of the second
part; and
WHEREAS, said easement provides that first party
grants to the second party easement for highway purposes across
that part of the right of way or property of said party of the
first part in the city of Newport Beach, Orange County, California,
described as four parcels, which said property is particularly
described and set forth in said Easement, and is shown in red
on map attached to said easement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
said City accent said Easement.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the city of Newoort Beach be, and they are hereby
iirected, authorized and instructed to execute said easement in
the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that
9. duly ex7cuted copy thereof be sent forthwith to the party of
the first part therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at adjourned &Aregular meeting
27 thereof held on the 23rd day of February, 1937 by the following
