RESOLUTION NO. ddQJ J+
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Conditional
Sales Contract, dated the 17th day of May, 1937, between the
Building
South Coadt Boat /Co., a corporation, as party of the first part
and the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation, as party
of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said Conditional Sales Contract provides for
the second party purchasing from the first party a certain boat
known as the Padarivet, in said contract more particularly
described, for the sum of 565.,50, as in said contract specified;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said city
that said contract be entered into, upon the terms therein set
forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to sign said Conditional
Sales Contract in the name of and on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting tlereof held on the 17th day of May, 1937, by the
fallowing vote, to —wit:
