RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPEND-
ITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED
FOR STATE HIGHWAYS.
WHEREAS, The State of California, through its
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has
presented a memorandum of agreement in accordance with a
project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of
the 1/4 cent gas tax for the 1937 -39 biennium allocated
for State highways in the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said
agreement in full and 1s familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that said agreement for ex-
penditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for State high-
ways be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and
City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of
said City.
