RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain agreement for sale
of real estate, wherein the city of Newport Beach is the Seller,
and Lawrence Lushbaugh and Pauline Lushbaugh, as joint tenants,
are the purchasers; and
WHEREAS, said agreement of sale provides that the
Seller will sell to the Purchasers the following described property,
to -wit:
The Southeasterly 40 feet of Lot 1 in Block
"D" of Tract No. 323, in the city of Newport
Beach, Orange County, California,
for the sum of $600.00, payable as follows: $100.00 on the signi
of the contract, and the balance of $500.00 at the rate of $20.00
per month, commencing as of February 1st, 1938, with interest
at the rate of �% per annum, payable semi- annually, upon the terms
and conditions in said Agreement for Sale of Real Estate set forth;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
Agreement be executed on behalf of the city of Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed and instructed to execute said agreement on behalf of the
city of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver
a duly executed copy thereof to the Purchasers therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resoluti
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the city Council of t
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd
day of January, 1938, by the following vote, to -wit:
