• 3 A Quitclaim deed from R. J. Briscoe and Frances Van R.
4 Briscoe, husband and wife, dated the 14th day of January, 1938,
5 to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth
6 class of the State of California, remising, releasing and quit -
7 claiming to the City of Newport Beach all that certain real
8 property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
9 State of California, and more particularly described as follows:
10 Lots 8, 10 and 12, Block 537, Corona Del Mar, as shown
11 on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellane-
ous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.

13 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
14 California.
15 WHEREUPON, Councilman CLAIRE, made a
16 motion, duly seconded by Councilman GORDON, and
17 carried, that said.Quitclaim Deed be accepted.by,.said City of
18 Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be instructed to record the
19 same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange County,Californis
20 That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit:

22 AYES, COUNCILMEN: GORDON, CLAIRE. WHITSON.
23 BROWN, WILLIAMSON.
24 NOES, COUNCILMEN: NONE.

ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: NONE.
26 I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true extract
27 from the minutes of the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
28 at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of February,1938.
