3 WHEREAS, Wayne W. West and Maud F. West, husband and
4 wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the

5 sun of $150.00 for Lot 7, Block 431, Corona del Mar, in the city
6 of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41
and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California
8 I and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
18 be sold to the said Wayne W. West and Maud F. West, husband and
19 wife, for the sum of $150.00, free and clear cEE all encumbrances,
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1938 -39, and unpaid
21 improvement assessments of record. Also subject toconditions,
22 restrictions and reservations of record. And the Mayor and the
23 City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
24 deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt
25 of the consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $15.00 be
27 paid to H. Cardoza Sloan, as and for his commission for the
28 negotiating of the sale of said real property to Wayne W. West
29 and Maud F. West, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being
30 a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale,
31 and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of
32 (Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Bach at an adjourned
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of August, 1935,
by the following vote, to -wit:
