RESOLUTION NO. WAq
WHEREAS, a certain Corporation Grant Deed, dated the
day of I , 1938, from THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH, a municipal corporation of the state of California, to
JAMES E. MacINTYRE and FRANCES L. MacINTYRE, husband and wife,
as Joint Tenants, granting to the said James E. MacIntyre and
Frances L. MacIntyre all that certain real property situated in
the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 3 in Block "C" of Tract No. 470,
as shown on Map recorded in Book 17 page 28 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, Records of Orange bounty, California,
described as follows:.
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said lot;
thence Northerly along the Easterly boundary thereof,
25 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
Westerly along a line parallel with the southerly
boundary of said lot to the Westerly boundary thereof;
thence Northeasterly along the Westerly boundary of
said lot to the most southwesterly corner of the land
conveyed by Lester Paul Sims, et al., to James E.
MacIntyre, et ux., by deed recorded in Book 689, page
198 of Deeds, records of Orange County, California;
thence Easterly along the southerly line of said land
to the Easterly boundary of said lot; thence
Southerly along the Easterly boundary of said lot to the
point of beginning,
was presented to the City Oouncil of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
Deed be given upon the terms and conditions therein set forth,
and other valuable considerations, including the widening of
Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City of Newport
Beach known as Corona del Mar.

NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Olerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
authorized, directed and instructed to execute said Deed in the
name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that the
City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Grantees
therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
adjourned
of theCity of Wewport Brach at s4regular meeting thereof held
on the day of September, 1938, by the following
