RESOLUTION NO.
1 WHEREAS, MIRIAM S. PORTER, has this day offered to the
2 CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $900.00 for Lots 9 and 10,
3 Block 14, First Addition to Newport Heights, in the city of
4 Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 4, page 94 of
5 Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as

7 and for the purchase price of said lots; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $900.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Miriam S. Porter as her separate property, for
16 the sum of $900.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
17 to the second half of taxes for the fiscal year 1935 -39. and
18 unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
19 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. And the
20 Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
21 execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said party
22 upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolutio

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25
the City of Newport beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
26
the 2nd day of January, 1939 by the following vote, to -wit:
