WHEREAS, FLOYD 49. BODLE and MILDRED V. BODLE, husband

and wife, and EDWIN H. CORBIN and ADELAIDE N. CORBIN, husband
4
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH. the
5
sum of $250.00 for Lot 39, Tract 949, in the city of Newport
6
Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 30, page 7 of Miscellaneov
7
Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lotg; and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $250.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
17
be sold to the said Floyd W. Bodle and Mildred V. Bodle, husband
18
and wife, as joint tenants, an undivided one -half interest, and
19
to Edwin H. Corbin and Adelaide N. Corbin, husband and wife as
20
joint tenants, an undivided one -half interest, for the sum of
21
$250.00, free and Blear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes
22
for the fiscal year 1139 -40 and unpaid improvement assessments
23
of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reserva-
24
tions of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby author -
25
ized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property
26
to the said parties upon receipt of the consideration above set
27
forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $25.00 be paid
29
to Gertrude A. Waldron, as and for her commission for the
•
30
negotiating of the sale of said real property to Floyd W. Bodle
31
and Mildred V. Bodle, husband and wife, and Edwin H. Corbin and
32
Adelaide N. Corbin, husband and wife, said sum being a fair and
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale and said broke:

being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 25th day of February, 1939 by the
following vote, to -wit:
