RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Conditional
Sales Contract dated the let day of May, 1939, by and between
THEODORE ROBINS, as Seller, and the City of Newport Beach as
Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller
sells to the Purchaser one 1939 Ford V8, Standard Fordor Sedan
(black) Leather Upholstery, for the sum of $1034.79, payable as
follows: Down payment represented by trade -in, 1937 Ford Standard
Sedan, for $400.00, and the balance payable as follows: June 6,
1939, $275.00, July 4, 1939, $$275.00, and August 1, 1939, $84.79;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of said City that
said Contract be entered into with the said Theodore Robins,
and that the purchase price therein set forth is fair and that
the terms of said contract are satisfactory.
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said.iConditional
Sales Contract in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the let day of May, 1939, by the -folio ing vote, to -wit:
