WHEREAS, ORVAL LYON, a married man, has this day

offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $350.00 for Lots
4
19 and 20, Block 241, Corona, del Max, in the City of Newport Beach
5
as shown on a'Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellan
6
eous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
8
and for the purchase price of said lots; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair a l ade quate
13
p
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16
sold to the said Orval Lyon, a married man, as his separate
17
property, for the sum of $350.00, free and clear of all encumbranc
18
subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1940 -4
19
and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
20
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. ne Mayor
21
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
22
and deliver a deed for said property to the said party upon
23
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $35.00 be paid
25

to F. L. Andrews, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26
of the sale of said real property to Orval Lyon, a married man,
27
as his separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable

commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being

1 a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
3rd day of February, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
