2 WHEREAS, MIL BORBRIDGE, a single man, hat this day
3 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of 0250.00 for. Lot.
4 Tract No. 682, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beau.
5 as sHown on a Map recorded in Book 20, page 19 of Miscellaneous
6 Maps, records of Orange County, California; and

WHEREAS, the said price is a fair
and
adequate price
8
-" and for the purchase price of said lot;
and

TMEREAS, the City Council of the
City
of Newport Beach

deems that it is for the best interests of
said
City that said
1111 property be sold for the said sum of 0250.00; and
1211 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14 above described.
I5 NOW9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16 sold to the said Cyril Borbridge, a single man, as his separate
17 property, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear of all encumbrance
18 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid
19 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
20 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
21 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
22 deed for said property to the said party upon receipt of the
23 consideration above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 062.50 be paid
25
to Gerald 17. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the aegotia:ti?4
26
of the sale of said real property to Cyril Borbridge, a single man,
27
as his separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonably
28
commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
29
licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

2 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
3 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
4 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
5 held on the 28th day of April, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
