3 WHEREAS, BROOKS E. TRIPPETT and MARGARET B. TRIPPETT,
4 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT
5 BEACH2 the sum of $150.00 for Lot 92 Block 402 River Section inthe
6 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 42 page

25 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records
of
Orange
County, California;

WHEREAS,
the said price
is
a fair
and adequate price
911 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
1311 AREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
1411 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
1511 above described.
1611 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be

sold to the said Brooks E. Trippett and Margaret B. Trippett,

husband and wife, for the sum of $150.00, free and clear of all
19
encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42
20
and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
21
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
22
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and direct4d to execute
23
and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
24
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $15.00 be paid
26
to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
27
of the sale of said real property to Brooks E. Trippett and
28
Margaret B. Trippett, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being
29
a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and
30
said broker being a.-licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

2 I hereby certify that.the above and foregoing Resolution
3 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
4 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
5 held on the 28th day of April, 1941 by the following vote, to —wit:
