3 _�HEREAS, ISABEL E. CHILDS, a married woman, has this
4 day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $25.00 for
5 Lot 2, Block 431, Corona del Isar, in the City of Newport Beach,
6 as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3,-pages 41 and 42 of Miscell-
7 aneous Daps, records of Orange County, California; and
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $25.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said Isabel E. Childs, a married woman, for the sum
18 of $25.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19 taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessment
20 of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservatio
21 of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
22 and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to
23 the said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $6.25 be paid
25 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26 of the sale of said real property to Isabel E. Childs, a married
27 woman, said stun being a fair and reasonable commission to be
28 allowed in said sale and said broker being a licensed realtor
29 of the City of Newport Beach.

I herebey certify that the above and foregoing Resolut
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 5th day of May, 1941,.by the following vote, to -wit:
