RESOLUTION N0. 3 - k
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement
dated the 191h day of May, 1941, and in which agreement the
City of Newport Beach is designated the party of the first
part and Baron Long the party of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said agreement relates to the docking of a
certain yacht, known as the °NORAB,11 by the City of Newport
Beach at a certain pier to be built by said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:by the City Council

of the said City of Newport Beach that /consideration for said
agreement, being the rents therein specified, is in all respects
fair, just and adequate and that it is for the best interests
and benefit of said City that said agreement be signed and
executed on behalf of said City; and'-
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed,
authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in duplicate
in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and
after the same shall have been executed by both parties thereto,
that the City's executed copy be recorded, and the other exe-
cuted copy be delivered to the party of the second part, Baron
Long.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing reso-
lution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
adjourned
