2 1'?HEREAS, RAYMOND KENT HARVEY and CELESTINE 'WHITE HARVEY,
3 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NZIW. ORT
4 BEACH, the sum of $175.00 for Lots S and 10, Block 542, Corona
5 del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded
6 in Book j, pages 41 and 42 of Uiscellaneous gaps, records of
7 Orange County, California; and
S WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and

!7HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $175.00; and
13 ?WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 XUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17j sold to the said Raymond Kent Harvey and Celestine White Harvey,
181 husband and wife, as joint tenants, for the sum of $175.00, free
19 and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal
20iyear 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assecsc,ents of record. Also
21 subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record.
22 The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
23 to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties
24 upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $43.75 be
26 paid to Hal 77ill Smith, as and for his cormnissicn for the negotiati
27 of the sale of said ret.l property to Raymond Kent Harvey and
28 Celestine 'White Harvey, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being
29 a fair and reasonable com.ission to be allowed in said sale, and
30 said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
