1 RESOLUTION NO. Yf�--- i—`'''
2 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
3 Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain agreement between
4 C. R. Erickson, as first party, and the city of Newport Beach, as
5 second party, said agreement being dated November 3, 1941; and
6 WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the second party
7 awards to the first party the contract for the furnishing by
8 first party to second party of all required labor, materials,
9 transportation, plant, tools and services for the construction
10 of a storage garage on public property located on the north side
11 of the Lido Channel and easterly of Tract No. 919 in the city of
12 Newport Beach, all in accordance with first party's written
13 proposal and the plans and specifications for the doing of said
14 work, for the consideration therein set forth; and
15 WHEREAS, said agreement specifically sets forth the
16 consideration, terms and conditions under which said materials are
17 to be furnished and the work performed; and
IS WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
19 deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
20 contract be awarded to the first party therein named.
21 n0�;, TH'�MFORE, BE I'T RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
22 Clerk of the city of F,3wport Beach be, and they are hereby
23 directed, authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in
24 the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and the Cit
25 Clerk shall deliver a duly executed copy thereof to first party.
26 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
27 was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the city of
28 Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of
