RESOLUTION NO.:
WHERFA9, PEARLE WHETSTONE, a single woman, has this day
offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of X600.00 for Lots
7 and 8, Tract No. 682, Corona del Mar, in the City of NeHrport
Beach, as shovm on a Map recorded in Book 20, page 19 of Miscell-
aneous Maps, records of Orange County, Californis; and
WHFREA9, the said price is a fair and adequate orics
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that raid
property be sold for the said sum of 0600.00; and
WHFRFAR, the price offered. is just, fair and adequate
and, is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
above described.
NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
sold to the said Pearls Whetstone, a single womam, as her
separate property, for the sum of f600.00, free and "olear of all
encumbrances, subject to the second half of the taxes for the
fiscal year 1941 -42, and unpaid improvement assessments of record.
Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of rPcor
The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
lto execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said nart•y
upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 1150.00 be
paid to Ralph P. Meskey, as and for his commission for the nepot
ting of the sale of said real property to Pearle Whetstone, a
single woman, as her separate property, said sum being a fair
and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said
broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resoluti
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held. on
