RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach has
approved by resolution the sale of Lot 6 in Block 734, Corona Del
Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, Orange County, California, to
John Pressley and Margaret C. Pressley, his wife, for the sum of
$200.00; and
WHEREAS, the sale of said property was made subject to the
city being able to convey title, free and clear of all encumbrances,)
except certain taxes of record; and
WHEREAS, the City is unable to convey said property free and
clear as aforesaid, to the said Jonn Pressley and Margaret C.
Pressley, his wife, and said parties and each of them have canceller
said transaction and have requested that the pureness price of
said property be repaid to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the said Resolution
No.� e S aforesaid, be and the same is hereby rescinded and
declared of no further force or effect whatever.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: Tnat the sale of Lot 6 in Block
734, Corona Del Mar, to John Pressley and Margaret C. Pressley,
his wife, be and the same is hereby cancelled and declared of no
further force or effect, which said cancellation has been made at
the request of John Pressley and Margaret C. Pressley, aforesaid.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the purchase price of $200.00
heretofore deposited with the City of Newport Beach for the purchase
of said property be and the same is hereby ordered to be repaid to
said purchasers, John Pressley and Margaret C. Pressley, his wife,
and the City Auditor is hereby directed and instructed to draw
a warrant in favor of John Pressley and Margaret C. Pressley, for
the sum of $200.00.
