WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Grant of Easement
dated the 13th day of February, 1943, from the Citizens National
Trust and Savings Bank of Los Angeles, to the City of Newport
Beach, wherein said Grantor grants to the City of Newport Beach
an easement for laying, maiAtaining and operating a Sanitary Sewer
Pipe Line, over, across and through a strip of land extending from
Bayside Drive to Carnation Avenue, in the Corona del Mar section
of Newport Beach, Orange County, California, described as follows:
A parcel of land in Block "D ", Corona Del Mar, as
shown upon a map of Corona Del Mar, recorded in
Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, more particu-
larly described as follows, toy -wit:
A strip of land five feet in width, lying south-
westerly of, parallel with and adjacent to the
following described line: Beginning at th# point
of intersection of the northwesterly line of Carna-
tion Avenue, formerly 30th Avenue, with the north-
westerly prolongation of the northeasterly line of
Seaview Avenue, formerly 51st Street, as said 30th
Avenue and 51st Street are laid out and shown upon
said map of Corona del Mar; thence north 500 West
along the northwesterly prolongation of said north-
easterly line of Seaview Avenue, 119 feet, and a
strip of land 10 feet in width lying westerly of,
parallel with and adjacent to the following described
line: Beginning at the northwesterly end of the
above described line bearing north 500 west; running
thence north 40 291 West, 60.31 feet; thence north
140 131 37" West, 117.67-feet, more or less, to an
intersection with the southwesterly line of Bayside
Drive, formerly County Road.
WHEREUPON, Councilman sir. made a motion,
duly seconded by Councilman i��al. and carried,
that said Grant of Easement be accepted by said City of Newport
Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same forthwith
with the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of
California,
