3 WHEREAS, A. DEAN WHITE and NAOMI R. WHITE, husband and
4 wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
5 of $65.00 for Lot 12, Block 429, Corona del Mar, in the City of
6 Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and
7 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; an
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $65.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said A. Dean White and Naomi R. White, husband and wife
18 for the sum of $65.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
19 to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Also sup'ject to
20 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
21 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
22 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
23 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
24 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
27 held on the 19th day of April, 1943 by the following vote, to -wit:
