II RESOLUTION NO.� i
1 WHEREAS, JAMES B. RORICK and BEULAH L. RORICK, husband and
2 wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
3 1 of $200.00 for Lot 15, Block 331, Lancaster Addition, in the City
4 of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 14 of
5 Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 I WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $200.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be sold
15 to the said James B. Rorick and Beulah L. Rorick, husband and wife,
16 for the sum of $200.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
17 to the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44. Alsd subject to conditioni ,
18 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
19 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
20 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
21 ,,consideration above set forth.
22 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
23 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
24
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
25
7th day of June, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
