WHEREAS, Kenneth B. Cochran and Grace E. Cochran,

husband and wife as Joint tenants, have this day offered to the
3
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $325.00 for Lot 16, Block 635,
4
Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map
5
recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
6
of Orange County, California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
10
Beach deems that it is for the best interests of the said City that
11
said property be sold for the said sum of $325.00 and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and
13
adequate and is not disproportionate to the real value of the
14
property above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That baid property
16
be sold to the said Kenneth B. Cochran and Grace E. Cochran,
17
husband and wife, as Joint tenants, for the sum of 1325.00, free
18
and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal
19
year 1944 -45. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
20
reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
21
authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said
22
property to the said party upon receipt of the consideration above
23
set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be
25
paid to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiatii
26
of the sale of said real property to Kenneth B. Cochran and Grace
27
28 E. Cochran, husband andwife as joint tenants, said sum being a
fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale and said
29
30 broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
31 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
32 Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
