6uHFREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of XeWport Beach, a certain license agreement
dated , 1945, between the City of Newport Beach as first
party and T/. A. Flippen as second party, and
YIHEREAS, said license provides that the first party grants
to the second party a license to operate and conduct the City
Dump grounds upon certain conditions and specifications set forth
in said agreement, and for the time specified therein; and
IMI REAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
Beach that said license be granted upon the terms and conditions
therein specified,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: --hat, said contract be and
the same is hereby approved as written by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Newport Beach are hereby directed, authorized and instructed to
sign and execute said contract on behalf of said City, and the Ole:
is directed to have the party of the second part execute said
contract, and the same shall thereupon be filed and become a valid
contract as between said parties.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
adjourned
Beach at an regular meeting thereof held on the 19thday of February
