RESOLUTION NO. �
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MAP SHOWING
PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN STREET IN THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH PROPOSED TO BE
VACATED, CLOSED UP, AND ABANDONED.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport
Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach a certain map showing portions of a certain street which
the City of Newport Beach proposes to vacate, close up, and
abandon, and known as Ocean Front, and described as follows,
to -wit:
Those certain parcels of land, being portions
of Ocean Front, as shown upon a map of Seashore
Colony Tract recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 7,
Page 25, Records of Orange County, California, which
said parcels are more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:
Parcel No. 1: Beginning at the most southerly
corner of Lot 1, Block A of said
Seashore Colony Tract; thence, northwesterly along
the northeasterly line of said Ocean Front to the
most westerly corner of Lot 6, Block A of said Sea-
shore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly along
the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly
line of said Lot 6 to a point, said point lying in
a line parallel with and distant 10.00 feet measured
at right angles from said northeasterly line of
Ocean Front; thence, southeasterly along said paral-
lel line to its intersection with the southwesterly
prolongation of the southeasterly line of said Lot
6; thence southwesterly along said southwesterly
prolongation of the southeasterly line of said Lot
6, to a point, said point lying in a line parallel
with and distant 15.00 feet measured at right angles
from said northeasterly line of Ocean Front; thence,
southeasterly along said parallel line to its interseo-
tion with the southwesterly prolongation of the south-
easterly line of said Lot 1; thence, northeasterly
along said line of prolongation to the point of beginning.
Parcel No. Z. Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 2, Block B Of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence, northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of Lot 3, Block B
Of said Seashore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly along

the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line
of said Lot 3 to a point, said point lying in a line paral-
lel with and distant 15.00 feet measured at right angles
from said northeasterly line of Ocean Front; thence, south-
easterly along said parallel line to its intersection with
the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of
said Lot 2; thence northeasterly along said line of prolonga-
tion to the point of beginning.
Parcel No, 3: Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 5, Block B of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence, northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of said Lot 5;
thence southwesterly along the southwesterly prolongation
of the northwesterly line of said Lot 5, to a point, said
point lying in a line parallel with and distant 15.00 feet
measured at right angles from said northeasterly line of
Ocean Front; thence, southeasterly along said parallel line
to its intersection with the southwesterly prolongation
of the southeasterly line of said Lot 5; thence, north-
easterly along said line of prolongation to the point of
beginning.
Parcel No. 4: Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 2, Block 0 of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of said Lot 2;
thence, southwesterly along the southwesterly prolongation
of the northwesterly line of said Lot 2, to a point, said
point lying in a line parallel with and distant 15.00 feet
measured at right angles from said northeasterly line of
Ocean Front; thence, southeasterly along said parallel line
to its intersection with the southwesterly prolongation
of the southeasterly line of said Lot 2; thence, north-
easterly along said line of prolongation to the point of
beginning.
Parcel No. 6, Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot
4, Block C of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence, northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of Lot 5, Block 0
of said Seashore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly along
the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line
of said Lot 5, to a point, said point lying in a line paral-
lel with and distant 15.00 feet measured at right angles
from said northeasterly line of Ocean Front; thence, south-
easterly along said parallel line to its intersection with
the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line
of said Lot 4; thence, northeasterly along said line of
prolongation to the point of beginning.
Parcel No, 6: Beginning at the most southerly corner of
Lot 3, Block D of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence, northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of Lot 6, Block D
of said Seashore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly along
the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of
said Lot 6, to a point, said point lying in a line parallel
with and distant 15.00 feet measured at right angles from
said northeasterly line of Ocean Front; thence southeasterly
along said parallel line to its intersection with the
southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said
Lot 3; thence, northeasterly along said line of prolongation
to the point of beginning.

Parcel No. Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot
1, Block F of said Seashore Colony Tract;
thence, northwesterly along the northeasterly line of said
Ocean Front to the most westerly corner of Lot 3, Block F
of said Seashore Colony Tract; thence, southwesterly along
the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of
said Lot 3, to a point, said point lying in a line parallel
with and distant 15.00 feet measured at right angles from
said northeasterly line of Ocean Front; thence, southeasterly
along said parallel line to its intersection with the south-
westerly prolongation of the southeasterly line of said
Lot 1; thence, northeasterly along said line of prolonga-
tion to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that said map be, and the
same is hereby approved, and the City Clerk of the City of Newport
each is ordered and directed to file the same in the proceedings
for the abandonment of portions of said street, and that said map
be used in connection with the Resolution of Intention this day
passed in reference to the abandonment of said portions of said
street.
The above and foregoing Resolution No.iL U was passed
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 12th day of November, 1946, by the following vote,

of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 3408 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 12th day of November , 19 469 by the following
vote, to wit:
