WHEREAS, the Oi council of the 01 ty of Newpor% Eokfts
in the County of Orange, State of California,, finds that tad City

(5) That our city Is directly concerned with the
location and width of highways which will not only :serve the
entire coastal area, but will also adequately serve our city,

largeley to an influx fr" cities of Orange County whose
residents come here for recreational purposes, and the busiest
season of our year is about to begin.
NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT% RESOLVED; that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach requests that the staff of the
Orange County Planning Ceahission be instructed to furnish our
city with all technical plAnning assistance on the planning
problems listed heretofore, and any others that may arise; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVOt That these problems are both
Important and in need of immediate attention, and that in view
of the tremendous amount of stoney in the form of taxes that is
contributed to Orange County by the City of Newport Beach we
feel that we are Justified in making this request for immediate
assistance.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resciatiotn
was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a aogl.al meeting thereof held on the 29th
day of May, 19119, by the following vote, to -wit:
