Sections 8320 to 8331. inclusive, Streets and Highways code; and MHBSF.AS. the Street Superintendent of the City of Newport Beach has caused to be conspicuously posted along the line of Bald street# not more than 300 feet apart. and not lase than three in all, notices of the vacation of said portions of Bald street# all of which will more fully appear from the affidavit of L. W. Covert, the Street Superintendent of said City of Newport Beach, on file in these proceedings; and WRFRMS, said notices so posted by the Street Superintendent of the City of Newport Beach, stated the pasdage of acid Resolution of Intention No. 3611. aforesaid. and the date and place of the heating of all parsons Interested in or objecting to the proppeed vacation of said portions of said street; and WHIN W, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach by said Resolution of Intention aforesaid, did fix Monday. the 27th day of September 1948. at the hour of 7130 P.M. of paid day in the Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, located in W City Hall of the City of Newport Beach, as the time and place for the hearing of all persons Interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said portions of said street; and WEMIF.AS, said Nenolution of Intention No. 9611, aforesaid. has been published at least once in the Newport Ralboa Presso a newspaper of general circulation printed, published. and circulated in the City of Newport Beachg and said 7mblication aas rAds more than fifteen days before the date set for 1 2 3 4 5 8 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 the hearing of all persons intereetAd in or objecting to the proposed vacation, all of which will more fully appear by the affidavit of Ben Reddick, Omer and publisher of said Newport- Balboa Press, on file in these proceedings; and WHEREAS. the City Council has heard the evidence. both written and verbal, by all persons interested in the vacation of said portions of said street in this Resolution more particularly hereinafter described, and finds from all the evidence submitted that said portions of said street described in said Resolution of Intention, and hereinafter described, are unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes= BOW. TH3R.RFMs the City Council of the City of 9ewport Beach finds and determines and hereby orders; That the following described portions of a certain stfeet in the City of Newport Beach, described as follows? Beginning at the most weeterly corner of Lot 13. Block. 19. First Addition to Newport Beach as said tract Is laid out and shown upon a mad recorded in Miscellaneous Maps. Book 3, page 27, Records of Orange County, Calif - fornis, thence southwesterly along the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of said Lot 13. to an intersection with a linee said line being eight and one half feet (8.5s) stesured at right angles south - westerly of and parallel with the southwesterly line of said Block 19, thence southeasterly alone said parallel line to an intersection with the southwesterly prolonga- tion of the southeasterly line of Lot 4* of said Block 19, thence in a direct line to an intersection with the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 19 of said Block 19* said point of intersection being one half foot (.$S distant from the most southerly corner of said Lot 1. thence northerly along said southerly prolongation to said southerly corner of Lot 1, thence northwesterly along the southwesterly linew of said Block 19. to the point of beginning. Is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes* and now makes its order vacating said portions of said street described. The City Council further finds and determines, and it is hereby ordered. that the publio easement in the portions of said street heretofore described has, upon the passage of this Resolution, ceased, and the title to the lands herein described shall. and the same does hereby revert to the respective owners thereof. free from the kublio easement for street purposes.
