RESOLUTION NO. 3679
WHEREAS, it appears that on the 24th day of March, 1949,
Jennie S. Crutcher Foundation, Inc. filed with the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a final map of proposed subdivision of cerl
tain land lying entirely within the City of Newport Beach and kno�m
as Corona Highlands; and
WHEREAS, it appears to said City Council that said map
conforms to all the requirements of the Subdivision Map Act, being
Chapter 2, Part 2, Division 4 of Business and Professions Code and
all ordinances applicable at the time of the approval of the tentati
map of said subdivision, and of all rulings made thereunder; and
WHEP.E.4S, said final map shows certain streets and easements
and by certificate attached thereto offers to dedicate the same for
public use; and
UHEREAS, said Jennie S. Crutcher Foundation, Inc. has
submitted to the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach, plans,
profiles and specifications for certain proposed improvements, and
said City Engineer has approved the same; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, an agreement for the making, construct
performance and installing by said Jennie S. Crutcher Foundation,
jInc. of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a bond for the faithful performance the
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that said final map here
filed on the 24th day of March, 1949, be and the same is hereby
approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all streets and easements
shoxm on said final map be and they are and each of them is hereby
accepted upon the express conditions however, as follows, (1) that
said Jennie S. Crutcher Foundation, Inc. shall, within ten (10) da
thereafter, execute said agreement and shall execute and deliver to
the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, a good and sufficient

bond in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000.00) - - dollars,
for the faithful performance of the work therein provided to be
done, and (2) that all access rights as abutting owner of Lots, 1,
2 and 3 shown on said final map to and from the adjoining Stat°
Highway and over and across the southwesterly lines of said lots
be relinquished and conveyed to the City of Newport Beach, to be
effected either by conveyance of an easement or by grant of a strip
of land, not exceeding one foot, along the southwesterly lines of
said lots; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the City of Newport Beach be and they are hereby authorized and in-
structed to execute said agreement for and in behalf of the City of
Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by theCity Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of
March, 1949, by the following vote, to wit:

the foregoing Resolution No. 3679 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said
City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the
28th day of March , 19 49, by the following
