RESOLUTION NO. 3810 -A
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems
it for the best interests for the City of Newport Beach to acquire
for public purposes, the real property more particularly described;

WHEREAS, Alice Louise Potter purports to be the legal owner of
said real property and offers to sell said property to the City of
Newport Beach for the total sum of Two Hundred Twenty -five ($225.00)1
Dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach deems said price of $225.00
to be the fair market value of said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Newport Beach
accepts the offer of Alice Louise Potter to sell to the City of
Newport Beach the real property situated in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California and more particularly
described as:
The Northwesterly 45 feet of the Southeasterly 180 feet
of Block "V ", Eastside Addition to Balboa Tract, as shown
on a Map thereof recorded in Book 4, Page 20, Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of the said Orange County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Newport Beach shall
enter into an escrow by the terms of which there shall be deposited
in escrow the sum of $225.00 by the City of Newport Beach upon the
condition that said Alice Louise Potter make, execute and deliver
a good and sufficient grant deed conveying to the City of Newport
Beach the said real property, and upon the further condition that
the City shall be furnished with a certificate of title showing
title to said real property to be vested in the City of Newport
Beach subject only to conditions, restrictions, reservations and
rights of way of record, together with taxes for the fiscal year
1950 -51, a lien not yet payable; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that there is no real estate

commission payable
upon this sale.

foregoing resolution was duly passed and adopted

at a regular meeting of the City Council, held on the 26th day of

June, 1950, by the
