RESOLUTIM OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT MACH, DECLARING RESULT OF AN ELECTION
HELD PURSUANT TO THE PROVISION; OF SUBDIVISION
1 OF SECTION OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE EE-
PLOYEE31 RETIREVNT ACT.
20 City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
resolve and order as follows:
SECTION It WHEREAS, an election was held In the City
of Newport Reach, Qdbfnty,zr Orange, State of California, purenaat
'14 the provisions of Subdivision 1 of Section 36-C of the Cantor -I
n1a State Employees' FoUrement Act, all as required by said a*%*
and pursuant to the resolution fixing polling places, appointing
election officers, and establishing rules for City employees' elee-
tion on the question of participating under the amendment to the
State Employees• Retirement Act, being Resolution Eo. 3912 of said
City; and
SAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly
and regularly given to employees of said 61ty; that voting pries.

pointed and election supplies furnished; and that in all respecte,
said election was held and conducted, and the votes oast thereat
received and canvassed, and the returns thereof aerie and declared
