A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWORT BEACH APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS
AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE MUNI-
CIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF NEW-
PORT BEACH ON TUESDAY, THE 9th DAY OF APRIL.,
1952, AND PROVIDING FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING
OF THE POLLS AND THE COMPENSATION OF ELECTION
OFFICERS.
WHEREAS$ it is necessary under the law for the City
oil of the City of Newport Beach to appoint Boards of Election and
to designate the polling places for the municipal election to be
held in the City of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the .9th day of Apt**
1952, and to fix the compensation to be paid to election officers;
and
WHEREAS, it is also necessary for the City Council of
City of Newport Beach to fix the hours for the opening and closing
of the polls for the municipal election to be held on the 9th day
of April, 1952,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
City of Newport Beach, that the polling places and the election o
floors to act at each polling place shall be as follows, to —wit:

cers above designated be paid the sum of 410.00, and each inspecto
the sue: of '412.00, as full compens =ition for their services in con-
ducting said municipal election: to be held on Tuesday, the 8th day
of April, 1952.

tablished by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Grange shall
constitute the voting precincts for the municipal election to be
held in the Ulty of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the 8th day of April
19520 said voting precincts to be numbered One to Twenty -three in-
clusive, and shall be designated in all proceedin;}s herein as #Pre -
