4 grants and conveys to John Q. M.3mE and Pearl E. Adams, husband
5 and wife as joint tennnts, that certain .real property situated in
6 the City of NwiTort Beach, County of Orange, State of CeliforrLia,
7 and described as follwis, to -TTits
8 Lot 23 in Block 139 of River Section, Newport Beech,
as shown upon a Nap recorded in Book 4 page 25,
9 Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange bounty, C^.liforn3w

WHEREAS, the said John A. Adams and Pearl E. Adams, hus-
11 band end wife, have offered to grant to the City of Newport Beach,

as consideration for said deed, free and clear of all encumbrance,
13 that certain real property situated In the City of Newport Beach,
14 County of Orange, State of California anddesertbed as follows:
15 Lot 24 in Block 13$ of River Section, Newport Beach,
16 as shown on a *dap recorded in Boo!,t 4, page 25, Mis-
cellaneous Daps, Records of Orange County, California,

1MRE.AS, it appears to be to the best interests of the

citizens of Newport Beach to accept and approve said grant deed
20 from John Q. and Pearl E. Adams, husband and wife,

inabove referred to and covering the said hereinabove described re

property is accepted and approved by the City of Nelimort Beach anc

Is hereby ordered recorded.
