WHEREAS, the City of New.sort !Ut sch has heretofore ea-
tared into as Lease with Newport Harbor Post No, 2% of the
Amerioam Legion, Inc., covering certain: city -owned prnperty;
and

the Oily must APprove and Consent to all their leaves; amd

port Beach a proposed sublease by tike Legion t:,, the Ebell Club
of Newport Beach for a period of five yerre fret April 2, 1952;
and

investigated by the City of Newport each; and
WHM -1AB, it oppearrs to be for the best Interests of
the citizens of the City of Xev)ort 7ipaclh that the C! -Ey of Now-
port Beach consent to said propose-1 sublease;

Beach hereby consents to the gait! oublemse between the Legion an,
the Ebell Club for a period, of five years from AnAl 1, 1992; an,
that the Mayor and the City Clerl» are hereby authorized aW dir-
ected to execute a consent to the entering into of saiUl sublease
between the Legion and the Fbell Club and the City Oler - is here•
by authorized and directed to trtnewit executed copies of said
consent to the parties to said lsase.
The above and foregoing :resolution was duly and regul-

port.Deach at a regular adjourneA, meeting held on the 6th day of
