A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NLWORT BTACH
CONSENTING To THE PROCEED= WITH THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY, KNOWN A* TIC"' GODDICKSON PA.',qCEL, UND13 TH^
PROViSIUNS OF THE ANNUATIUII ACT Oy 1913.
WHERM, Grant `V. Ooddickson and others have peti
the City of Newport teaoh ter its consent to the annexation, -of
certain property generally bounded by 15th and 161h Streets and
Santa Ana, Avenue and Newport Boulevard, in the County of Orange.
State of Caifornia,, contiguous to the present City boundaries
of the City of Newport Beach, under the provisions of the Annexa-
tion Act of 1913; and
WHE"EAB, the Orange County Boundary Commission did,
on March 9, 1953, a±oprove the definiteness and certainty of the
proposed boundaries of the said property proposed to be annexed;

WHF°REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Reach did, on March 19, 1953, give its anoroval and recommenda-
tion to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach for the
proposed annexation of pair% property;
ICON, TILREMRE, BF, IT RFSOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach does hereby consent to the proposed
annexation of said Goddle"on Psreel under the provisions of the
Annexation Act of 1913, and hereby further consentss that the pro -
ponents of said annexation shall proceed with the steps necessary
under said Annexation Act of 1913.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regul-
arly passed anl adopted by the City Council of the City of
Beach, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 23rd day of
Yareh, 1953, by the following; vote, to wit:
