ACCEPTING GRANT DT
.i
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain Grant Deed of
Easement from Hugh Cairns and Helen C. Cairns, husband and wife,
to the City of Newport Beach, the same being dated September 18,
1953, wherein said parties grant to the City of Newport Beach a
right of way or easement, for the purpose of erection, laying and
construction of a pipe line to convey storm water with the right
of going in, under and over the property hereinafter described,
for the purpose of repairing, maintaining and replacing said pipe
line in, over, and under that certain real property described as
follows to wit:
The northeasterly three (3) feet of Lot
13, Block 435 Corona del Mar Tract, as
per map recorded in Book 31 Page 41-421
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California
RESERVING unto the grantors their heirs, devisees,
successors and assigns the right to construct,
reconstruct and maintain a sidewalk on and over
the said northeasterly three, (3) feet above
referred to.
AND, WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests
of the citizens of the City of Newport Beach to accept said grant
deed of easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said grant deed of
easement hereinbefore referred to and covering the -.said herein -
before described real property 1s accepted and approved by the
City of Newport Beach and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed and instructed to record said grant deed of easement
immediately in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
