3 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has heretofore made
4 I certain amendments to its Master Plan of Shore Line Development;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, said Amendments have been adopted by the Orang
7 County Board of Supervisors and the Orange'County Planning Commis
8 sion, the effect thereof being to amend the Master Plan of Shore
9 Line Development of Orange County; and
10 `HEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has the sum of appro
11 imately $27,000.00 credited to its account as matching funds for
12 the acquisition of property called for in said Master Plan of She
13 Line development within the City of Newport Beach.
14 NOW, THE?.EF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the action of this
15 Council, the Orange County Board of Supervisors and the Orange
16 County Planning Commission towards the acquisition of property
17 within the City of Newport Beach for Shore Line Development, as
18 the same is set out in said faster Plan, be, and the same is here-
19. by,.approved;
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the State Park Commission,
21 Division of Beaches and Parks, be, and they are hereby, asked for
22 assistance in the acquisition and development of the property as
23 set out in said luster Plan of Shore Line Development of Orange
24 Count insufar as the same affects the City of County y Newport Beach.
25 The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regular:
26 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Bea
