A RESOLUTION OF.IXTENTI01 TO ANNEX,
AND GIYIN(i ■OTICE 9'i r1roF
WHEREAS, these is° "Situated outside and contiguous to
the City of Newport Brach a certain uninhabited area as herein-
after more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, the owners of avid parcel have expressed the
selves as desirous of having the same annexed with the City of
Newport beach; and
ViHEREAB, it would be for the best interests for the
City of Newport Beach and its citizens for the City of Newport
Beach to annex the said hereinafter described property; and
t`SEREAS, the City of henport Leach did, on or about
October 23, 1953, submit to the Orange County Eeundary Commissior
a legal description and plat of said hereinafter described unin-
habited area for its approval, pursuant to Section 35002 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, on October 26, 1953, there was filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Newport Deach an approval by said Orang
County Boundary Co=19 lion, under the provisions-of said Section
35002 of the Government Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE- IT MYSULVED, by the City Council of
the City of Newport genah that the follwsina declarations and no-
tice be made and given:
IT IS WLME Y DE01,4RED, that proceedings have been in-
itiated by the said City of Newport Beach, a City of the 6th Clas ,
to annex the said real property as hereinafter described, which
said real property is contiguous to the present boundaries of sai
City of Newport Reach, and wb1oh property is, at the present time
completely uninhabited.
NOTICE IE R71F13Y GIVES that it is proposed by said City
of Newport Beach to annex the hereinafter described real property
to the City of Newport Beach, which said real property shall, In

The specific des-
oription of the boundaries of the territory so prf:�posed to be an-
nexed are as follows:
All that certain land situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, sontiguouo to the City of Newport Aeach,
Bribed as follows, to elt:
Beginning at a point in the City Boundary lice of the
City of Newport 3eaeh, County of Orange, California, said point
of beginning being; between U.S. Bulkhead Station 130 and U.B.
Bulkhead Station 131, in the U.S. Harbor Bulkhead Line, as said
bulkhead lines are laid out and down upon a mars entitled "Harbor
Linea, Newport Bay, California", approved by the `.ecretary of th®
,Army, February 15, 1951. and on file in the U.'. District Engin-
eer's Office, Los Angeles, California; said point also being the
most southerly corner of Lot 73, :Tract Sao. 1014, as shown upon a
map recorded in Miscellaneous 4fan Hook 33, Fags 31, Records of
Orange County, California; thence northerly along the easterly
line of said Tract No. 1014 and said City boundary line, to an,
intersection with the southerly line of the State Highway ORA -60-
being 100 feet in width as described in deed recorded in deed bo<
487, page 3, dated May 20, 1931, Official ?ecorls of Orange Ccunl
California, thence easterly along the said southerly line to Gait
U.S. Bulkhead Station 131; thence Hortheast in a straight line t(
:station 128 in the Court Decree Line as established by UuIerior
Court Case Nn. 201436; thence north 340 571 15" east, along said
Court Decree Line and along said City boundary line a distance of
424.05 feet to Station 127 of said decree Tine thence north 200

9 YMHPR NOTICE Is Hr.- ZY GIVEN, that on Monday, Deced
10 149 1953, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. on said day, or as soon there-
11 after as the matter may be heard, at the Council Chambers of the
12 City Hall of the City of Newport Beach, 3300 West Newport Blvd.,
13 Newport Beach, California, a hearing will be had at which hearing
14 any person owning any real property within the boundaries of the
15 territory so proposed to be annexed, as described above, may ap-
16 pear and object to the proposed annexation and show cause, why
17
such territory should not be so .annexed.
18 The above and foregoing Pasolution was duly and regular
19 passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of th
20 City of Newport Beach, held on the 26th day of October, 19531 by
21 the following vote, to wit:

• I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 4160 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said
City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the
26th day of October 1953 by the following
vote, to wit:
