A STRE!sT, DESIGNATED AS OCEAN FRONT =X IN THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, VYHICR -1'3 PROPOSED TO BE
VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED.
WHER " -AS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach has
presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a eertai
map showing a portion of a certain street which the City of Newport
Beach proposes to vacate, close up and abandon in the City of New-
port Beach and wiiich portion of said street is described as follows
to -Vitt
Beginning at the most southerly eoarner of Lot 1,
Block C of Seashore Colony Tract as said Tract is
shown upon a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map
Book 7, Page 259 Records of Orange County, Calif-
ornia; thence northwesterly along the southwesterly
line of said Lot 1 to the most westerly corner of
said Lot 1, thence southwesterly along the south-
westerly prolongation of the northwesterly line of
said Lot 19 to an intersection with a line lying
southwesterly of, parallel to, and distant 15 feet
from the southwesterly line of said Lot 11 thence
southeasterly along said parallel line to an inter-
section with the southwesterly prolongation of the
southeasterly line of said Lot 11 thence northeast-
erly along said southeasterly prolongation to the
point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 11WOLVEsD, that said Map be, and the
same is hereby, approved and the City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in the pro-
ceedings for the abandonment of said portion of said street and ;
that said map be used in connection with the Resolution of Inten -'
tion this day passed in reference to the abandonment of said porn
tion of said Street.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 22nd day of March, 1954, by the
following Vote, to -Witt
