AUTHURIZIi'±G EXECUTIUN OF QUIT CLAL4 DEED
WHEREAS) there has been presented to the City Council
the City of Newport Beach a certain quit Claim Deed wherein and
whereby the City of Newport Beach quit claims to G1Ot:UE WILLIAM
LORD and BESSIE A. LORD, husband and wife, as joint tenants, all
of its right, title and interest in and to the real property
described therein, and amore particularly described as follows:
Lot Three (3)1 Block Eleven (11), Tract No. 772
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 23, Pages 5 & 6
of Miscellaneous Haps, records of Orange County, Calif-
ornia, Excepting therefrom that portion included with-
in a certain strip of land described in the doed to
the City of Newport Beach recorded February 1st, 1918
in Book 285, page 368 of Deeds. Also excepting there-
from that portion, if any included within the strip
of land described in the deed from John i,artel, as referee
in action of Joseph B. Banning Jr., vs, William Albert
Smith and others (Case 110. 22737) to Joseph bo Banning,
Jr. recorded February 21st, 1930 in look 362, page 29
of official Records,
ACID, WH::.EAS, it ap�;ears for the best interests of the
citizens of the City of ilewfort Beach and of the above mentioned
quitclaimees that said quit Claim Deed be executed:

Clerk of the City of Newport Beach bo, and they are hereby, direct-
ad, instructed and authorized to execute saiu Quit Claim Doed in
the name of and on behalf of the City of New.,ort Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
No. 'Za'y was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting ther
of held on the 26th day of July, 1954, by the following roll call
vote, to wit:
