10 described below, are growing upon certain streets, sidewalks,
11 parkways, and private property in the City of Newport Beach and
12 that the same are a public nuisance; and
13 Whereas, it appears to the City Council of the City of
14 Newport Beach that said we ds should be abated as a public
15 nuisance in accordance with the rrovisions of Chapter 4 of
18 Article VII of the Municipal Code of the City of Newport Beach;

18 geetion li Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4 of
19 Article VII of the 'Municipal Code of the City of Newport Beacli,
20 the City Council of the City of Newport Beach hereby determines
21 and declares that weeds which bear seeds of a downy or wingy
22 nature, and weeds which attain such a large growth as to beeom,
23 when dry, a fire menace to adjacent improved property and weeds
24 which are otherwise noxious or dan erous
