Records, Records of Orange County, California, and more particularly 21 described as follo *ass 22 Beginning at a point in the northwesterly line.of the 80.fbot strip of land described in deed from 23 dohn.J. Thornton at al to the County of Orange, re- corded in Book 72, page 131 of Official hecorc ;s of 24. said Orange Cour.tyi which point is the southerly end of that certain tangent-course in said north - 25 westerly line having a length of 157.14 feet and a bearing of. South 34-0 591 35" West; thence front said 26 paint of beginning South .3 ° 59' 35" West along the southwesterly prolongation of said tangent course 27 a distance of 297.75 feet to a point In the center line of that certain 1a0 foot street adjoining said 28 Lot 24 on the west as vacated by the Board of Super- visors of said Uran.0e County, a certified copy of 29 which order is recorded in rook 286, page 273 of Official liecords, records of -said Orange County; 30 thence South 800 40' 10" Bast a distance of 32 feet; thence North 240 55' 51" East to a point of inter - 31 section with the said northwesterly line of the 32 afore- mentioned 60 Toot strip of land, said point of.intersection.bein.; in a.curve concave to the Southeast and having a radius of 1040 feet; thence .northeasterly along said curve and said northwest- erly .lir_e to the point of beginning. Said public highway to be vacated, closed up and abandoned is more clearly shown on a certain map approved and'_adopted by the SlCity Council of the City of Newport Beach for said vacation, e closing up and abandonment, by resolution dated A-14 . 7. 19553 and designated "Resolution No., Y-21 9 ", which said map 8 is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Newport 9 Beach.- Reference is hereby made to said map for further particulars 10 as to the proposed vacation, closing up and abandonment of said 11 public highway, and said map is made a part of this resolution 12 to the same- extent and purpose as if the same were herein incorp- 13 orated in hull. 14 SICT'ION 2s That the proceedings for the closing up and 18 18 abandonment of the aforesaid-public highway shall be had and taken, 17 and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach-hereby ©lectsto 18 proceed under the provisions of the said uStreet Vacation Fct of 19 1941 ", and all amendments thereto, being Sections 8300 through 20 8331 of the Streets andHighways Code of the State of California. 21 SDCTlQN 3: The Strect Superintendent of the City of 22 Newport Beach shall ka cause to be posted conspicuously along the 23 line of that certain.public highway proposed to be vacated, not. 24 more than 300 feet apart, but not less than three in all, notictes 25 of the vacation of said public highway..
